About Us

We are two old folks who have retired from work after a lifetime at the daily grind. Now that we have more free time to enjoy life, we want to travel.

Normally, I write humor about the ordinary things of life and try to make them interesting by the way the story is told.  This time instead of waiting until I return and writing stories from my notes as I usually do, I thought I would try journaling as we go. While a blog written on the fly will not be as polished as essays written with more time for scrutiny and self-editing, I hope the spontaneity will make up for any rough spots.

Writing is my passion and sharing my travel experiences is a pleasure. Thank you for joining us on our trip.
